LYRA, reclined without a single mechanism

Most lounge chairs make you choose an angle before you can relax: which notch, which position, whether the last setting still suits. LYRA asks nothing of you. The reclined angle is built into the frame, the head cushion is already where your head lands, so the only thing left to do is sit down.

A back that carries you all the way up

The tall back rises past the shoulders with a gentle curve, so your spine meets it along its whole length, not at one point. At the top, a buttoned head cushion sits exactly where your head falls once you stop holding it up. The padding is deep, the seat is deep with it, and two curved runners give a long, slow arc. The difference shows after the first twenty minutes: nowhere for your attention to drift, nowhere your head has to hold itself.

Two tones, one quiet statement
